Argentine publicist Jorge Gerez won six awards at the Napolitan Victory Awards ceremony held in Washington on Saturday, October 31. The awards recognize work he carried out in Brazil and Mexico. The event is often described as the “Oscar of political marketing.”
In Brazil, one award recognized a campaign for the Paraná state government built around the theme “supermarket of the world,” referring to the state’s exports of food to more than 100 countries. Gerez has worked for years with Paraná Governor Ratinho Jr. and his allies.
In Mexico, the recognized work was a campaign focused on the refoundation of the National Action Party (PAN), the country’s main center-right party.
