The DFB-Pokal round of 16 draw has produced a home tie for record cup winners Bayern Munich against second-division leaders Hertha BSC. The draw was held at the German Football Museum in Dortmund and conducted by Markus Gaugisch, the Germany women's handball head coach.

Two all-Bundesliga ties were drawn: Eintracht Frankfurt will host Borussia Dortmund, and Bayer Leverkusen will face RB Leipzig in a meeting of two European competition participants. Last season's finalists VfB Stuttgart will host second-division side Dynamo Dresden.

In the other ties, Borussia Mönchengladbach will welcome SV Darmstadt 98, 1. FC Kaiserslautern will play SC Freiburg, VfL Bochum will host FC Augsburg and Holstein Kiel will take on 1. FC Köln. In total, six of the eight matches pair first- and second-division clubs.

The round of 16 is scheduled for Dec. 1 and 2. The quarterfinals will be played in February, the semifinals in April, and the final at Berlin's Olympiastadion on May 29.
