The Federal District government is developing plans for a permanent structure to attract investment to Brasília, aiming to bring public authorities closer to private companies. The initiative is being coordinated by the Tourism Secretariat and is intended to reach investors in Brazil and abroad.
The project has five stages, beginning with an assessment of economic opportunities and continuing through the creation of the structure and the delivery of strategic programs. The plan is to put the initiative into practice this year.
Tourism Secretary Bernardo Antunes said Brasília’s potential extends beyond tourism and public administration. He said the proposed structure would present concrete opportunities to investors and support the Federal District’s economy.
