Article 113 of Italy's budget law provides more than €17 million over two years for territories affected by floods in Emilia-Romagna, Marche and Tuscany. The provision authorizes total spending of €17.1 million in the 2027-2028 biennium, with €12.8 million allocated for 2027 and €4.3 million for 2028.
The resources are intended for interventions linked to the flood events of May 2023, which affected all three regions, and to the events of September and October 2024, which again hit Emilia-Romagna. The measure does not set out a distribution of the allocations among the different territories.
