At tailgate parties, town-hall meetings and church services, Democrats centered their final message on Trump and his allies. They argued that Republican incumbents were benefiting financially while many Americans were struggling to cover their expenses.
In Houston on Saturday, James Talarico, the Democratic Senate nominee, attacked his Republican opponent, Ken Paxton. Talarico accused Paxton of being controlled by Elon Musk, whose more than $158 million investment has made him a major financial force in the race.
