QN Media, the new publishing venture from LMDV Capital, will be officially presented at Rome’s National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art on Thursday, November 5, from 6 p.m. The group’s national newspaper, QN, is scheduled to launch in newsstands across Italy and on digital platforms that day.

Publisher Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio will attend the invitation-only event alongside CEO Gabriele Benedetto, editorial director Mario Orfeo and editor-in-chief Agnese Pini. According to the announcement, they will outline the project’s direction and its main changes to the publishing group.

LMDV Capital says it aims to build a major European publishing group able to compete in international markets. The company says journalists, editorial teams and other professionals will remain central to its approach, with innovation intended to support journalism. Its AI system, Qid, is designed to assist newsroom work and provide tools for research, analysis and in-depth reporting.

QN is planned for broad distribution across Italy. In Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Lombardy, Marche and Umbria, it will be sold alongside the group’s newspapers Il Resto del Carlino, La Nazione and Il Giorno, which are also being updated in design and content. Elsewhere in the country, QN will be available on its own for €1 or bundled with selected local newspapers.

The newspaper will feature a new design and an updated structure for current affairs and in-depth coverage, as well as contributions from new writers in journalism and culture. Its digital offer will include a dedicated app developed within QN Media, alongside podcasts and themed newsletters.

The company describes the launch as the first step toward building an independent publishing group, rooted in its existing strengths and focused on the future of news.
